I realize this too, I'm just looking for apples to apples after a tune- with the same set up before and after to see if there has been improvements and what those are. oh, and before I start hearing the comments about other things I should do first, yes, yes, yes, I know I need better wider rubber, lighter wheels, LSD, suspension mods, etc. Before I spend the money on an engine performance mod like a tune it would be very helpful to hear comments from the community as to what they are getting in terms of some of these types of performance measures. and better flex (more travel), departure and approach angle, and traction on the rocks and mud if its a 4x4. dyno numbers are good for comparisons on paper, but typically I don't do a lot of expensive mods to my cars/trucks unless they actually improve real world performance- like better 0-60, ET, braking, skid pad, lap times on a given track, etc. Would be interesting to see actually rubber to the road numbers with the various pre-packaged tunes as well as any custom tunes anyone has done. I don't suppose in addition to road feel and butt dyno anyone has actually done any timed runs with cobb tuning maps vs stock? with or without bolt ons.
